Hey everyone! It's been a while since I've been on here. I originally joined at the beginning of 2019 when I got my first chickens, but I had to sell them all in the fall of 2021 since I was going to college. I have missed them so much every day, but the good news is we have decided it's time we get some more! Since I had to sell everything, we will be completely starting over, and I was wondering if you all had any suggestions on things I could do. We decided that we wanted to build a mobile "hoop coop" so that we can take them all around the yard! Also, does anybody have any suggestions on what breeds to get? We are only wanting 6 chicks, but I would like to have some fun, colorful chickens that also lay fun, colorful eggs! Our local tractor supply and co-op both have chicks, but there is a minimum limit to purchase and they don't have a variety to choose from, so I'd rather not have 6 of the same chickens. I'm excited and I look forward to being able to jump back on here again!
