Hello,
We got chickens 3 years ago and I have checked this site frequently.
Started with four in a little tractor, lost one, got three more the next spring. Had to upgrade to a larger coop and fence our orchard for their enjoyment.

Now we added 4 more, one is definitely a cockerel, so we added three more to replace him (we still have him and will try to find him a good home.) So now there are a lucky 13, though still in three separate coops.
I am a Lutheran pastor, a homeschool dad, and we have a ridiculous amount of animals. Happy to join the group.
