Hello! I've been coming to this site for info and tips since I picked up my first 8 CXs last year. (Inspired by the local small chicken farm I volunteer/work/learn at). I am now in my second season of raising CXs. I have 10 CXs (started with 12) and 4 Black Australorps who are between 1 and 4 years old. I raise all my birds from day old on, and get them through local farms.

I have developed a love for the birds, as on our little "homestead" they are the most versatile addition we ever acquired. The only thing I can't do is have a rooster.
