Long weekend away - Early lock down?

I will be going away from a long weekend towards the end of next month. I will be leaving on Friday morning and coming back Tuesday. As my current staggered hatch schedule stands I put my eggs in lock down on Sunday night and the eggs hatch Wednesday or Thursday.

As I see it, I have two options:

1. Put the eggs in lock down 2 days early before I leave
2. Delay the start of this hatch so lock down isn't until Tuesday

I don't want to wait two weeks between hatches. I would prefer to do option 1, if it won't unduly harm the chicks to go on lock down early, so I don't mess with my hatch schedule. But I am willing to compress 3 hatches into 2 if it would be best eggs.

There will be people here, but they don't understand how it works beyond the broad strokes and my incubators can be finicky.

You could try two days early but you probably wouldn't get a good hatch rate. Plan B sounds better. It probably be better to delay the hatch but that's up to you.
