Hi,

I have a lonely old cortunix boy, George is now 2 and half years old and outlived his girls.

I am stuggling to find an older girl for him (im in Bedforshire uk) I have called local bird places, looked for ads and been on fb.

Any ideas?

We dont want a younger girl as these are our last pets.

Can you find George a home with someone who has quail? Other than that, you might try a stuffed animal and spend a lot of time with him.

I'm gonna put up a couple of big mirrors.

I don't know if a mirror is a good idea for a male. You can try it, but watch to see if he tries to fight his reflection. He could injure himself doing that.

I put some mirrors up. He gave them a pack and now has settled with one of them.
