Loo is almost 4 years old and she developed a drake curl in December. She never had too much interest in her eggs. More of a Tomboy duck lol. Lily loved making nests and sitting on her eggs. But not Miss Loo. Anyway crazy as it seems my girl Loo continues to surprise me. Does anyone else have female ducks with drake curl? Is this common?

My Pigweed just developed a "drake" curl last fall. She also got a lot more colorful at the same time, she's usually creamy/white with a few black flecks. She's nearly 7 now. She produced much less eggs last summer and I wonder if she went through henopause.

I checked the base of the feather for any problems. I had another duck who got ingrown feathers which caused them to curl, but Pigweed's is perfectly fine. Just drakey.
