Look at the new guest quarters to the chicken coop!

I needed something to put my new arrivals in once I move them out of the garage. I don't want them fighting with my 1 year old hens so thought I'd build a small hen house with the run going under the existing hen house. I had this cage my husband built for some injured box turtles I kept years ago while rehabilitating them. It was built out of mahogany. The frame of it was still in great condition so I transformed it into a house for the new guests. Check out the pics:

Very nice! My husband just built what I had dubbed a "chick shack" for my 7 week olds, but I like "guest house" better.
