Look at this first egg!!

The small brown and medium green egg are from chickens who have been laying since last week. This is the first from this hen today. She did make the egg song before laying it.

There was a little bit of blood on it too. Poor girl, her first and she got no break with smaller eggs!

My AliceAnne layed a double-yolker first time out of the gate, and I felt bad for her, too.
She has given me a single yolker every day, since. No worse for the wear, apparently.
