Look at this JUMBO egg

that one is definitley about a half inch longer but mine looks a lot rounder... i will have to get out the measuring tape when i get home and get a diameter. i dont have a scale other than the one i weigh myself on... ill have to do some searching

Wow , that's a big egg. I thought mine was big.
I have two big one from my Delawares. I just candled one at day 7. All looks good. And I just put the second one in today! I hope I get some big girls!

I just weighed the unincubated one (26), only 85 grams/3.2 oz. and it is only 2 5/8" long.

Its a flip'n miracle she didnt get eggbound! Holy clover! I wonder if it has extra yolks.

I heard one way to tell if the egg is fertile is to hold it up to a red heat lamp and if it color shines through it is not fertile so maybe this could help on your decision to incubate it.
