Look at what I found!

So I have an upstairs porch on my house, an while I was in the bathroom brushing my teeth I kept hearing this barking type noise. I assumed it was a frog but decided to walk out on the porch and what do I find? A turkey! On my back second story porch! She (?) Seems super friendly she comes and sits in my lap if I squat down. I have checked with all of my neighbors and no one is claiming her. So I guess she is the newest addition to my little farm!

The only thing that ever showed up here was Luigi, the Guinea fowl. She's a beauty. Of course, now you will have to get a tom.

Its weird because next week I was planning on getting a few turkeys!

Sweet ! I've had a nice Rhode Island Red hen, and two banty roosters show up here, but never a turkey. If the fellow gets in your lap, he is probably someones pet.

That's what I thought but no one knows where it came from! Any idea of how far these guys will travel?

Very pretty . Lucky you - the only thing I get blessed with is abandoned cats & rabbits lol. Mother nature new you were thinking Turkey

If he is a wanderer, he may keep wandering. If you wan to provide him a good safe home, enticing him with treats and food will encourage him to stay.
Make sure to check him for health issues or parasites.
Fine looking bird though.
