i misunderstood and assumed about the situation, and am standing corrected. i miss the howling at night also, but the pack around here has seemed to disappear.
it just looks compact, even compared to the stature of the other showed pic, were the wolf is hunched and turned, though other is timber, and this one looks grey wolf (there is a differance to those who dont know), so maybe im just so used to the timber wolves. hope he gets it a friend, especially if its going to be by itself for long work periods, or he wouldve waited to get tit till settled and set up, but happy to hear he will be doing that later at least. ps i hear alot of worry and speculation about wolves and coyote killing livestock, but wild wolves and coyote have walked among my animals and never harmed any, just hunt bugs and rodents they kick up, though have killed stray cats and dogs that shouldnt be loose and nusances anyway.
