Look what DH is making for me!!!

DH asked me what I wanted for Christmas. I told him nest boxes. He said he would make them but not for Christmas. I can have them now. I guess he loves me, or maybe he loves the chickens. This is how far he got in one afternoon.

I am going to paint it. What color would be good?

Maybe yellow would make them think about eggs and lay more?!? I still think pink would be cute since only the girls use them...
I had completely white ones and it didn't seem to bother then hens, so i wouldn't be too worried about making it gaudy
I haven't painted the ones i have now...probably should though...i just take them down and power wash them occasionally.
