I went to farmers market yesterday, I couldn't help myself! Tell me if I really got a khaki campbell, and a rouen, and a black Cayuga probably spelled them wrong! but I'm sure you guys know what I mean. Meet my new babies!

sorry I know I repeated the pics. but I am really proud of these little guys, If my new babies turn out anything like these have, I will be one happy duck mommy:lau

Are those silver appleyards??? Very pretty! I have one SA girl, but she doesn't have a colored head, so maybe you have boys?

I dont know a thing about ducks so I cant answer your question, but had to tell you how beautiful your birds are!!

We have a couple of ducks that we bought at the farm store last spring but they live at the pond and only come up every morning to eat. I dont have a clue what they are! My DH has been wanting more ducks, but still trying to figure out what he wants. We were thinking maybe Snowy Mallards, but I REALLY like yours! I will have to show him your pics!!

I though they may be Snowy Calls with long bills. they look just like my AFLAK, he is a drake. Has the little curled feathers right at the base if his tail, that is usually hidden by his wing feathers.

OK your BYC Page said welsh harlequin ducks

I'm fairly certain those are Welsh Harlequin ducks. Was there any difference in beak color when you got them? When they're a day or so old, you can sex them by beak color.

Welsh Harlequins (check out Wifezilla's ducks) are good egg layers, equated to Khaki Campbells, and good mothers. Very pretty breed (normal sized, not bantams/calls).
