Chickie Mamma I'm in the same boat as you. Just talked my hubby into letting me get a Cochin. How do you ask, I explained that I just had to have something to hatch some marans eggs with in the next year or two and it would be more cost effective to have the chicken then take up all his time to build one or put in all the overtime to buy one! He actually was glad I got the chicken at the end of the conversation.

And "Buffy" is the sweetest little chicken!!
