Look what I found in the nest box

HAH! An egg pyramid! Once, I found an egg, that was layed on TOP of the nest box, and it was sitting right on it's pointier end! I kid you not! Grabbed it up and put it in my basket so quickly. DARNIT I should have taken a pic. It was winter time, and the egg had cracked ever so slightly and sort of glued itself upright like that!

It looks like someone has a prima donna in the coop. Obviously HER eggs are far too amazing to touch something so mundane as the floor.
