Look what I found

I will still have vents, just not where the ones in the picture are. I was thinking about the back of the coop or on both sides of the coop. Not sure yet. Its already 104 here in July and will only get hotter, so I know I need lots of air circulation. I just wanted something a little 'pretty' on the coop.

To get the circulation I would put them vents on both sides so the air can flow through. Keep in mind windows will increase the heat... great for winter but not so much for summer. Could you incorporate the oval in the door? Maybe use a screen door for summer and that door for winter?

You know I never thought of that. I might see what I can work up. Thanks.

Wow! Those are nice!
I'm still searching for the perfect windows.

I would love to put stained glass windows in my coop - if I could find them for the right price like you did.

What a steal!

If you do not use the oval windows for the coop you might consider using them elsewhere in your garden as "art". They would tie in with the longer window and offer design continuity...while you have posh outdoor lunches with Grey Poupon "sammiches".

Great find! What a bargain. I'd put those up around the roosts. The chickens seem to like to look out the window in the evening when they go to roost.
