That's the BEST kind of surprise! Even one zucchini plant will give you enough squash to leave on the neighbors' doorsteps - lol!

One of my gardening clients only wanted a couple of zucchini plants for her balcony container garden, and there were 3 seedlings, so I ended up taking one home even though I wasn't intending to grow zucchini this season. Zukes have a way of sneaking up on us, eh?

Make a nice foliage plant for the bed and maybe the squash bugs won't find it.
