These guys are just coming into breeding/laying age, and I plan on hatching some myself before I start offering eggs for sale.

But hopefully by early spring, provided these guys cooperate, I'll be ready to start selling hatching eggs.

I was going to post that my two are looking so beautiful! I have to get pics of them. They are going to work wonders for my project and I am so pleased with how they turned out. Your girls are gorgeous too!

Beautiful birds and a great plan. Isn't it great dealing with people that you have met through this site? I sold a beautiful BLRW to Vicki2x2, sold and traded with Tororider, bought some ameraucanas from Wynette then built her a coop. Sold some SLWs to LauraSBale, got water from BayCityBabe and I have a list of Michigan BYCers that I plan on giving Welsummer eggs to as soon as the girls get back in gear. It's really enjoyable reading the posts of the people you have met or hope to meet. ShellyB1969 your egg hatching plan sounds great and I'm sure I'll be getting eggs from you.

You're absolutely right, Opa. I've met some super wonderful people on this site, and hope to meet many more. My fellow Michiganders have been nothing but gracious and helpful to me in all of my "chicken ventures". And those people outside of Michigan have been just as kind. You just let me know when you're ready for some eggs. Heck, I'll even bring you some chicks if you like!

I'm a Tennessee country girl, so I just have a feeling that you and I will get along just great.

I'll kidnap Miss_Jayne and bring her along as well...she really wants to meet you too. We've heard nothing but wonderful things about you.
