sorry to say ya are mistaken the one with the dewlap under their necks are super dewlap africans geese not the same as Grey African Goslings,they look similiar just dont have the dewlap under their necks.
It took me as while to convince my dad that geese would be good for me to have, but after I got ducks and put them in an open topped pen where they might be prey to a hawk ( we have several around too ) I read that geese are good guard dogs. So we are testing that theory out, I'm the kind of person who has to see things to belive them
It is no wonder it is so hard for novices to identify chinese versus african, espeically young birds.
What say you, African, chinese, or mix? Just curious they were sold as "weeder geese" so no identification was made other than what they could be or that they may be a mix. Someone said probably African because they are so much easier to produce. They are a nice color and lovely temperament.
