Look what I hatched!!!! Hey MSBEAR...... I got one!!!!

I hatched some Bantam Columbian Cochins from MSBEAR's eggs about a month ago. I got 5 chicks. The first time I hatched these I got 3 , all hens. All I wanted was 1 Rooster to go with them.

Here HE is!!!!!!! I am soooo excited, it also looks like the other 4 are GIRLS!!!!

Not too many people get excited over Roo's but this is too cool!

Oh, my word!!! I am smitten! Can I see some pictures of the girls, and your older ones too? They are beautiful!

And, I understand your excitement about a roo. i did the same thing when I found a black cochin rooster. Very rare around here, apparently. And, I incubated a WHOLE bator full of eggs, just hoping for one pure partridge rock roo from my Oosey.
