We recently found a pair of adults in our yard, but after getting close enough to pet them, we let them fly into the neighbors yard. I found out from a neighbor that another neighbor let the pair go, he was tired of them! The next day the female showed up in my yard alone, so I caught her. I kept the 5 eggs she laid that week and put them in the bator. We eventually let her go because we couldnt find the male and she seemed lonely. But now I have one of her adorable little babies! I hope another hatches so this one wont be alone!

It is so sweet and comes running to the side of the cage when I walk up and look in. I hope it imprints on me and stays friendly!

I have no clue lol

Sell them? Eat them?

Yeah I have trouble hatching chicken eggs, but put strange eggs in there and they hatch, go figure!

I stop turning my bob whites on Sunday, so if you dont hae any more hatch I'll could *hopefully* give you a buddy or two.

Cool, thanks Hannah

I moved it to a brooder, but it looks so tiny in there. I gave it a stuffed animal friend, but it doesn't seem too interested in it.

We have 3 baby wild turkeys that my dad got today. They were wandering somewhere. Hopefully they'll calm down since their young.

Im on day 15 with my buttons and IM beside myself , I had 1 button hatch out of 8 eggs about 3 1/2 weeks ago and the little guy really needs a friend its in with chicken chicks but it gets sat on steped on kicked and layed on

That is one cute baby, its funny how they all look a little difrrent but besides size they dont look THAT diffrent you know . you can mostly tell "thats a quail , thats a turkey , thats a ....." but for being diffrent species that some times look really diffrent grown they shure look remarbly simmler to eatch other as babies imo

Aww cool! I was soooo tempted to buy some turkeys at the auction last Wednesday. They had one box with just two small turkey poults in it, one was a Slate and the other a Lilac...I almost bid! They also had several boxes of Black Spanish poults go through too. I just think Turkeys would make too much noise in my yard. But ugh, I really wanted that Lilac one!!
