I wish you had gotten a better hatch rate, I got a PM this morning another BYC member had 2 eggs form, 8 to hatch from 12 silkied cochin eggs.

Maybe your black chick is a boy.

1st a cuckoo 2nd a black, you can also sexed them if you know the parent's colour....

cuckoo hen x black roo then all cuckoo offsprings will be roo, all black will be hens.
