Look What Landed in My Yard This Morning.

No...thank goodness not a hawk. Much more beautiful.

This picture was across the street from my driveway.

Same here, but a closer view.

He walked the balloon out of the soy bean feild so he wouldn't damage the crops! Kudo's!!

. Walked it about 50 yards to the hay field, and kept going.

He finally lets it rest on the corner of the feild that the farmer uses for access to the feild.

My daughter and I walked down for a closer look. You can see the man pulling the balloon down.

Then he squeezes the air out.
As a result of this wonderful surprise this morning, my daughter was late for daycare and I was late for work. Oh well!! It was worth the show.

And my chickens.....well they were nowhere to be found...lol
We did find them hiding in the coop once they took the balloon away.

Very cool. Close to where I live, they are having the Great Falls Balloon Festival this weekend, in Lewiston, Maine. It's 3 days of launching hot air balloons, some of the shapes are amazing! We went last year with DD. The let you get so close to the balloons when they are filling them up that you can touch them.

would love to do a trip in one, its 150 per person for 4 hours, did a teathered balloon one time only up 1000 feet but definately got me thinking I want to do the real thing
