Here in Oz we can actually buy boxes from the post office that are for posting wine bottles. It actually says " Wine Pack" on the cartons. They are perfect for sending 2 egg cartons in - and if the posties dont take too much notice of the weight- they would assume it is wine. I have recieved eggs and posted them myself in those boxes- and they travel very well.
