My MIL told me yesterday that someone told her that the rooster was sighted at an antique store about 20 miles away... At least he wasn't melted down! I don't know if the cops have been there yet. I hope he gets returned!!!

I also found out that the guy who owns the rooster (who owns the land where what used to be a restaurant still sits) is a really nice large animal vet...

I actually talked to him once. I was calling around trying to find someone to neuter our tom cat for less than $200... I talked to him and he said "I only see large animals" and I said.. "well he IS a pretty big cat!" He laughed... haha!

I want my egg sign back!!!! If I had a bucket loader I'd organize a rescue operation!!

Let's get him Steph!!!! We can just make a road trip and hand deliver him to everyone...like the prize patrol..only we'd be Rooster Patrol!!!! LOL!!! Can you imagine!!! People would NOT answer the door..worse than hiding from the church ladies on saturday afternoons!!! LOL!!!!

On the news last week they were talking about a big Jesus statue being stolen for scrap metal.... except that it turned out being plaster. It's sad, and a shame that people are stealing statues to have them melted down.
