    Fresh paint really makes a difference. We wanted white so it would seem lighter in there. But white is boring so Wal Mart clearance isle had some fun colors we could use to make it fun! My 6 year old daughter loves to paint and we had fun making our coop. This was a plain barn shed when we started. This spring we plan to landscape it. Hope you enjoy!

    I was tempted to paint my hen house, but after seeing the amount of dust the hens raise around the run, I would have to find a paint that matched the color of dirt..[​IMG]

    I love it. They will be very happy in there. I think the fun colors are great. I did the same with my coop.... Light Blue with darker brighter blue trim inside....the outside is barn red with white trim. The girls seem happy and it is still bright inside the coop...

    Here is link to mine...you can see the fun colors inside....just wait until I add the drapes for the windows. hahahahahaha
