now you have done it you pesky enablers with all your cute pictures of chicks and eggs hatching. I have the Bator turned on and i am saving up eggs AGAIN !

make the insanity stop I have to hand turn and I have to go to school and I only have room for one more chicken until we can get a bigger house somewhere more country.

The Dark side is calling me again but i must resist i must not hatch , huh what's that a cookie no no no no it will take more than a cookie to get me whats that 2 cookies well......

You enablers should be ashamed of yourselves,you know who you are

DH said we're on a tight budget, so I've been volunteering to test hatch ANYTHING!

There are a lot of enablers here. I have 24 eggs in the bator now.

I need to get away from BYC but how do you do it. If I'm not on here everyday I go through withdraw. My hands start to shake I get head aches and I need two pots of coffee to get me through the day. What am I saying, I can never make it through a day without being on here. It's a good thing my DH got me a dishwasher for Christmas and a lot of meals go in the crockpot

We couldn't hatch more even if we wanted to. I always get so attatched to the boys and I can never let go of them. That's why our roo to hen ratio is 3:10! We're ordering 8 day-old girls in Feb to even 'em out.

That's all the mommying I'll allow myself to handle for a while.

so the bator has been running steady since i plugged it in so i was going to start saving up one of my hens eggs. I have done a big hatch already with
RIRxBSL and got five little black cuties. So this time i was going to try and see if i could find the mother a our dearly missed Peach. since i Know my RIRxBR is not it (RIRxBR=BSL).

I was going to do a big RIR roo x BR mix hen to see if it is some recessive gene or something because two hatches ago i hatched the most sweetest hen we have ever had but she sadly died at 5.5 months old

. but the thing that made her special was that all of her brothers and sisters where black but she was RIR golden color .

they never said i could not hatch them they just said wait until spring

January almost February is spring in my book

and I was going to tell them after I gathered the eggs and put them in the bator and they were on day five or so.
