They've got me too... in the spring our broody will find some eggs slipped under her...

I got five 2week olds outside with a mother hen. I have five 1week olds in the house. I just bought a new incubator and have eggs on the way. Also I'm thinking I need to hatch some of my own for some reason or other. Can't remenber what that reason was but I'll think of one.

Well I looked and if you put them in on the 27 of February then they would hatch on the first day of Spring. Please don't tell them I told you that.

Henry~ Umm, yeah it is. You know what they say, practice makes perfect, so I'll just keep hatching until I get 100% hatches 100% of the time.

just messing around I really hope one of my girls goes broody this spring/ summer my mom said the only breed she would let me hatch more of are Salmon Faverolles

Henry~ Just set eggs Friday, so I have a little wait. Nope none of my LF Lavender, my splits aren't ready to lay yet. Don't worry you'll be the first to know.

I busted my incubator back out and got some turkey and duck eggs from a BYC buddy that lives close by.
They got set tonight!
