This is a box that my husband made for my Mandarins. They aren't using it, but my call duck has decided to. My concern is that the babies won't be able to get out. When we noticed her initial interest in the box, hubby piled it with pine chips, so she's not all the way at the bottom. We're gonna keep a close eye on the box. She's been broody for about a week. Anyone have any suggestions? We're gonna have to take the babies from her anyway. They won't survive in our pond and my calls free range.
