So, after my two baby chicks first whole day with the 13 weekers, I went out to see how the sleeping arrangements went and this is what I found.
I guess they figured out that if they were the first ones in the coop that they got choice of roosts. It is the absolute highest place you can get to in the coop, and I am still unsure about how they got up there. Hopefully having the big one up there means that we have turned the corner on getting them integrated into the flock. Also, there are a lot of funny things that my chickens do, but i find it hilarious how they make such a fuss over finding somewhere to roost. They make so much noise, and feathers fly all over the place as they climb on each other to get to where they want to be. Good entertainment if you ask me.
