So this is Black Betty, she's a 3-4 yr old black ee. I know she's molting right now as she has a rooster spot on her back that is finally pinning, send I can see pinning between feathers on her abdomen. Normally, she's a very subtle molter with no bare spots, and I can only tell she's molting by the amount of feathers in the coop or physically checking her.

Anyways I know they go pale when they molt, and maybe i'm just noticing it more today, but she seems really pale to me. She's puffed up in the picture, but seems to be moving around fine though maybe a little slower then normal.

Do you think it just molt/age?

They are on bar-ale layer and have oyster shell on the side, free range all day. I do need to treat for worms as someone has tape but i'm trying to wait until more stop for the winter.
