Looking for a commercial egg operation..

Several years ago, we purchased a bunch of retired white leghorn hens from one of the confinment houses for .25 cents each... Was looking to find another one.. Any ideas for a place close to western IL or southeastern IA or North eastern MO>?

What did you do with them? Did you keep them for layers or put them in the stew pot?

How far do you want to drive? We have 2500 organic red hens going out next month. We are just south of La Crosse, WI.
