looking for a GOOD welsummer breeder in canada

They seem to be rarer than... a hen's teeth!

I really really REALLY want a few healthy, pedigreed welsummer hens to add to my flock for the lovely dark brown eggs...

Please help!

Look on the breeders list at the top of this forum. It has one for Canada. Maybe someone has them listed there. I hope you find some. You might also try asking on the Canada thread, in where am I where are you. You can also post a wanted add. I hope you find some!

Hi,

I know you emailed me some time recently about my birds and the ability to get them to Canada but I can't remember your name (sorry!) and can't remember about when it was you emailed me so I don't know where to begin looking for that email.

So, if you'll email me again, I'll put you in touch with my breeder. He knows someone in Canada with Welsummers and maybe he can get you some birds. I think the guy is coming to Chehalis in a couple of weeks but I'm not positive.

I have been looking on line for Wellsummer bantams and I have had no luck. I have found several hatcheries that sell Wellsummers in standard sizes. One that looked interesting to me was Darkeggs.com. They only sell chickens that lay dark eggs and they had some cool breeds, however they don't have Bantams. Please let me know if you find any!
