Hi everyone..... New to this group but have been reading for a few months. My husband rescued 2 Peeking ducks in April from a slaughter house and brought home as an "experiment" for my kids. Raise them and let them go in a lake. I didn't agree and have been taking care of them since 3 days old. I love my ducks but it their care is becoming overwhelming for me. I have 3 kids and run a daycare. I have cAlled a few farms but no luck. I did find one place but not good enough for them. They are spoiled. 1 is definately laying eggs and I think the 2 could possibly be because I keep finding soft shelled eggs that could be the other ones but not sure. So now I'm worried about the calcium intake or lack of if ones male and one female. I am worried with the winter coming. I would like to find a home for them with other birds. If anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated. I don't know where to look .
