To the O.P. good job not taking offense. This is some really, really important information.
You have to understand that people who are super-responsible about breeding - and those of us who want to buy healthy dogs from responsible breeders - feel passionately about casual, thoughtless breeding. It's kind of a heart-breaker because we know what can happen to these dogs.
Also - keep in mind that others will read this thread....and maybe, JUST MAYBE they will decide not to breed their pet. That's the hope of those passionate about this issue.
All my pets - horses, cats, dogs, (and now chickens!) - are all from long lines of champions - performance and/or breed ring (cats are horrible at agility). I'm a big supporter of responsible breeders!
ETA - I do not breed ANYTHING (except my chickens).
