Looking for a Nursery Brooder for Newly Hatched Chicks

You're probably not talking to me, but this is what I think.
NRs are more bang for your buck, so to speak. I just liked the design more honestly. A Brinsea that would fit upwards of 22 eggs is almost twice as much as the NR. And just as good IMO.

I like to keep it around 40%. I usually have to keep port A half full to accomplish that. Running dry had me at 19%, but we run a dehumidifier in the basement (where the incubator also is) so I have to keep water in. If the RH of your house is around 50% you should be ok to try running dry though. I did a dry hatch in a still air incubator a year ago, and I didn't like how big the air cells got. You sure can try it though. I know lots of people that have success with it. Just as long has your humidity is in the 40-45% range you're good. If you don't have to add water to get that, great. If you do, that's fine too.
I also love using these bottles to add water. It is so much easier than trying to syringe it in.

What lead you to pick the NR 350 over a brinsea? They’re the two I’m stuck between too

I actually had a Brinsea. They're a great incubator but the price difference is significant and I just happened to get a Brinsea mini advance that had this annoying electrical smell that took everything for me to get out. The Brinsea mini doesn't actually have a humidity gauge either. You have to put a separate piece in and the only place to put it is directly over the cup of water. The tube system to add water was also weird for cleaning in my opinion but I'm really weird about sterilizing everything after every hatch.
I've used several incubators and there are pros and cons with every single one. I just found that for me the NR360 was preferable in most aspects. It's easy to clean so don't get me wrong, but after using an IncuView there really hasn't been another incubator as easy to clean as the IncuView. My biggest complaint about the IncuView is it tends to run extra dry. Anyway, I hope that ramble helps. Lol
