Hello to eveyone. I am new here and would like to adopt a pair of ringneck doves. I live in MA. I have looked everywhere and would like to buy from a breeder. Can anyone help? I would rather pick up than have them shipped, so looking for locally.

try pigeontalk, as they usually have people who are adopting out or selling, all over. good luck, they are neat birds, just fragile and pretty dump compared to pigeons, but they and my cortnix quial and cockatiels always did the best together in an aviary i had, as the three types of food complemented each and all and i never had any waste, and they all always bred like a bunch of base head prom goers, if i didnt toss fertile eggs continously, and when i didnt i always had all the healthy babies hatch and grow up strong. i always fed mealworms though that all ate also, which some autrialian breeders i talked to, said was key factor in breeding healthy birds as well as greens and misting with warm water.

Update : I adopted a ringneck dove and a pair of diamond doves. Thank you to everyone who posted on my thread. I was able to find them in a pet store in my town. They had just come in. :D
