Looking for a Sebastopol Goose

Hi there,

I had two gorgeous Sebastopol Geese, a 3 month old male and female . I am 60 years old and throughly enjoyed watching them wander around my yard in the day and play in their pool. Sadly a neighbors dog got into the pen during the night and killed my beautiful boy.

I was hoping that someone knows of a place or person that may have a male Sebastopol available. I realize this is the wrong time of the year, but I understand every once in a while a female will lay twice in a year.

Karen, no one can ship this time of the year because of the temperatures. However if you say where you are from (state) you may get lucky and find one close by. Otherwise this springs goslings not being kept for breeding will be listed for sale in the fall as juveniles.

Sorry about your loss, make sure you get the night time housing secured so you don't loose the girl too.

Hi, I want to thank you for your quick response and your note about my loss. The fencing has been secured and hot wire added. I so miss my little guy, he was so chatty and when I would put my arms out he would put his wings out, he wasn't afraid to eat out of a cup I held or dip his head in the bucket I held. I never would have imagined I could love geese as much as I do.

I live in Northern Calif, right outside of Shasta County.

If anyone near by has a young male available please let me know.

I just lost my buff girl to a snake bite, my little guy cries and cries as he follows me around. If anyone can help me find a girl we would both be happier. I prefer a buff or lavender but he hasn't said that he has a color preference. I know we can't ship yet but i'm trying to get all my geese lined up so to speak for the fall. I will take 2 or 3 if someone is wanting to sell in a lot. thanks
