Looking for a "Spanish ....(something)"

Hi all - I was introduced to some very cool blank and white speckled hens that were good for both egg layers and meat birds. The name was "Spanish" something, and it's not the black white-faced ones. These were very cool looking birds - does anyone have a clue what chicken I am looking for? I learned about them at a chicken lovers picnic at a friend's place about 3 years ago and have been out of chicken since then

I am no longer raising bird but did for years and Pita Pintas were my last breed I raised.
