Hey everyone!
I'm looking for advice from judges- from county fair to APA, full time to part time - your advice is welcome!
I have always been interested in judging poultry showmanship, but unfortunately was never really involved in 4-h during my youth. I have called the local 4-H extension offices and am waiting to hear back about their specific application process.
In the meantime, I was wondering if anyone had any advice for what I am getting myself into. Walkthroughs of the judging process or even just personal experiences are all welcome. I know it's not going to be as strict as an APA sanctioned show, but I want to do the best job I can.

EDIT: I thought I should mention I do know the process of becoming an APA licenced judge, this is more about learning what the experience is like.
