Looking for advice with building a coop for Cornish cross birds (Minnesota)

I think that, as recommend earlier, you will get more and better responses if you start your own thread. Many people use thread titles to decide if they will read a thread. This thread is about a coop for meat birds. You have bantams. You're not likely going to attract the attention or advice of people who can help you. You are better off posting in the Coop Construction and Design forum.

Not to mention that it is generally considered bad form to interrupt someone else's thread with your own topic. It's like walking up to a group of people and interrupting someone mid-conversation with a question that's totally unrelated.

If you are accessing the mobile site it isn't as straight forward figuring out how to post a new thread but if you poke aroun, there should be a button or dropdown menu that gives you the option. Good luck. And BTW, I love the flag on the coop.

ETA: At the top right corner of the main page of every forum there's an thing that looks like a white square with an arrow coming out of it. It's a drop-down menu that gives you the option of starting a new thread in that forum.

actually I'm going to raise buff Orpington and Americanas in this coop but sorry to interrupt your thread

No worries. I know how frustrating it can be to ask for input on a forum but get no reply. Was hoping to prevent that from happening to you.

Buff Orpingtons are great birds. I just have some hatchery stock but they are my favorite so far. Very personable and docile. Pretty good layers too, so far.
