Hi all,
I am very new to chickens and their needs. 4 more ths ago I rescued a chick that was a few days old. She bonded with me and never left my side, she slept mostly on me or right next to me under a scarf. She has never been with other chickens and has always been an inside bird. She come camping with us away for weekends. She is now almost 5 months old and I am looking for advice on the following.... she has never been with other birds and is quite attached to me and crazy lovable and not a fan of any garden birds...does she need to be with other chickens?
I now have a beautiful custom built coop and run for her.... how warm should it be and will she managed to keep warm alone when I start letting her sleep outside at night?
