Hi. I have Americaunas. I got them from Murry McMurry. They have a great catalog which has some very enlightening descriptions of breeds, and their characteristics. They also have poultry supplies, if you can't find them in your area. I have used MurryMcMurry for years, and have never had any problems. The only thing that might be an issue is they have a requirement that you get at least 15 baby chicks, if they are going to be mailed. Otherwist, fewer numbers won't have the natural heat and might not survive the trip.
I'm loving my Americaunas. I've read that Americaunas are unfriendly, but mine are very sweet. Good luck.

I am sorry to inform you of this......but if you got Ameraucanas from Murray McMurray, you got Easter Eggers. To get authentic Ameraucanas you need to find a breeder. There are lots of breeders on this site.
