I would not buy from that seller- search for kemp's here and you'll see why. The 1588 is worht the extra $. I bought a different one to start, and ended up buying the 1588 after my first hatch.

That's the incubator I was going to order, but then I read about the 1588. I agree with SusanJoM, the more I read about them the better the 1588 sounded.

I bought a second one right after my first hatch so I could have one for incubating and one for hatching....

I skipped the turner on the second one, but.....

I might need a third if I can't resist getting more eggs....

    Oh dear....

I have that incubator. I use it just for hatching. I dont really care for it though. The temps dont stay stable, and the windows loose a lot of heat, I have to cover the window with a towel just to get it to say 100 degrees.

well i have to say ... That i have that bator.1588. And so far so good. I can see very well in it. And it keeps a good temp all the time.I am on my 18 day right now. I will let you know the percentage rate is later. I use to own a sportsmen. I hated it. Everyone says how good they are. I had a very bad hatch in it. Alot of problems and very very noisey. Now i am trying this one . So far so good.
