Hi everyone! I'm looking to expand my flock with specific breeds and colors (all my colorful birds died, leaving me with neutral tones such as black, grey, and black-white mottled). I have all bantams and am looking to keep it that way.

I've been having a tough time looking for hatcheries/breeders that sell a variety of eggs that cover what I'm looking for. I know it's hard to just order eggs and get exactly what I want (chickens aren't vending machines), but I want to cover as many kinds of birds as possible. I realize it's also not spring anymore, so it's been harder finding available eggs.

I'm looking for:
-seramas
-bantam frizzled cochins (smooth is okay)
-d'uccles (preferably porcelain)
-silkies (preferably white)
-bantam dark brahmas
-modern game bantams
-japanese bantams
-bantam orpingtons

Or any cute bantams known for docility!

I am also okay with juveniles (started pullets), day-old chicks, and laying hens!

Cackle has a few of the ones you are looking for. They are the only hatchery I would reorder from for silkies...I liked my white and buff silkies from there- especially the buffs!!!

I also have ordered Japs from them but didn't keep them long so don't know how they would have grown up.

Seramas require heat in winter I have read...never had them.

I liked Welp Hatchery's d'Uccles...haven't tried Cackle's d'Uccles. McMurray's d'Uccles were lovely- I think I used to have a bantam dark Brahma from McMurray if I am remembering correctly.

Thanks a lot for sharing (and for all the recommendations)!
Hmm.. I have been debating ordering from Cackle. I even live in the same state as them! I could probably pick them up myself :O

I only wish they offered MPC's sexing option along with the ability to order smaller quantities :I that would be awesome

I sent you a message. I have silkies and they are laying pretty good right now. Even though I do have quite a few broodies right now. I do ship eggs. It is to hot to ship chicks. So local pickup on chicks.
