Hi, I'm wondering if anyone knows where I can find a booklet or catalog sort of speak of pictures of different breeds of chickens. If there is information under each breed section that's even better. Thanks

Most of the hatcheries have some sort of catalog. Murray McMurray and Cackle Hatcheries have some of the better pictures and descriptions. You can go online and request a catalog be sent to you.

yea thanks, but how can i download their free catalog. All i can see if free online view or they send it within the u.s. and charge for outside. I just wana download the whole catalog, any ideas?

I don't know about a catalog, but you could purchase the American Poultry Association's Standard of Perfection. If you get the black and white paperback copy, it only costs $14.00.

If you have a Tractor Supply in your area maybe try there. The one in Purcell Oklahoma had a book that described different breeds of chicken, when the breed was developed, and what breeds went into developing it. I wished I would of bought that book. This weekend I think I will take a 30 mile trip up there to see if its still there.

I don't think they probably have TSCs in Israel.
