The darker brown eggs here are from my MMM. She lays the largest dark brown eggs here.
Multiple yolkers are somewhat common with pullets. It takes them a little while to get all of the egg laying stuff worked out. Are they under a year old? Just be sure they're eating a complete feed, either a layer feed or an all flock feed with oyster shell (calcium) available at all times to use as needed.
