Looking for Brooder Lamp Stand Ideas

I came up with an "original" idea to use pvc pipe from Home Depot/Lowes. 10 feet of 1/2 schedule 40 pvc, some fittings for a total of < $10 and I got it up and working. THEN I had the idea of coming here to see what others have done and found this: https://www.backyardchickens.com/t/634519/diy-brooder-lamp-holder LOL. Next time I'm in town, I'll pick up some small chain and modify my design some. If anyone is interested, I'm happy to provide a complete parts list, cut list and pics.

Got me one of those dimmer! Great idea. Still trying to figure out a good place to put the lamp though. I just have a cardboard box setup.

You're going to want a lid on it soon enough, so just make one out of small metal mesh and set the lamp shade right on top.
