Howdy yal!
I have been raising silkies for a little while now, but they never seem to make it to their 1 year old point. As y’all can probably imagine, it gets a bit tiresome. So, I began looking into other breeds, and I fell in love with the Cochin! They seem a lot like silkies (Lots of fluff, sweet personality, good mothers) but they are a lot more hardy! I am in North GA. Please let me know if you have some available. Oh, the birds are for pets ONLY! We could never imagine eating them!
