Looking for companion chicken for hen that just lost her best friend

Hi,
My 3 year old hen just lost her best friend and is having a hard time being alone, I believe my only option is to get her 2 more friends but I am not sure how this works. Will adult hens get along instantly or will there be fighting? I am in the Hudson Valley NY area, are there any farms that sell adult hens? Please help, heartbroken to hear my hen cry. Thank you!

Hello, what kind of hen do you have? I live in the HV as well and have a couple cochin bantam chicks growing up they are about 3 to 4 weeks old now... I can sell you a couple if you would like.

Hi, she's a Golden Comet, thank you but I was looking for older chickens so that she could have instant friends again. Not even sure if I can put her with older hens, do they fight?

there may be a squabble or two but since she is the only chicken it shouldn't be too bad at all.
